****FALL NATURE PROGRAMS****

 

Provide your child the opportunity to connect with nature & other children in a therapeutic way this Fall!

 

A growing body of research suggests that psychological and physical health improve for children when they spend time in nature on a regular basis. The Well Wildernes Kids Therapeutic Playgroups allow children to benefit from nature from a developmental perspective, including but not limited to gross/fine motor skills, visual processing, tactile, & social-emotional. The goal is for each child to experience movement & therapeutic play through all of the senses.

 

These 6-week playgroups will provide your child an opportunity to interact & play in a manner that will foster development of physical, social & emotional skills in an environment that is therapeutically structured yet allows a child to naturally learn & interact within their own individual comfort level. Some of the activities will include creating art with nature, social circle time with nature stories/music, zipline/climbing/swinging, & therapeutic touch with animals.

 

Upon registration, you will be emailed an application & contacted by a Well Wilderness therapist to further discuss any other pertinent information regarding your child. Each camp session has limited spots to allow for a small therapeutic ratio. The playgroup will be led by pediatric Therapists &/or Early Childhood Educators specialized in providing therapeutic intervention for children of all abilities.

Rhythm & Rhyme in Nature Music Play (ALL ages)

Thursdays, 1030-1130am (8 spots)

 

Elements of Nature (Preschool/Homeschool)

Wednesdays, 10-1130am (8 spots)

 

After School Nature Club ~

ANIMAL CONNECTIONS (ALL ages)
